the sad, the emo and the unhappy...

Seems like there are a few peeps around me who are feeling down and out recently. Living past a quarter of a century, I don't even remember the times when I'm really sad, except a couple of them. Did I choose to forget or did I choose not to bother at all?

Somehow it has something to do with self control...I'm not sure...I mean, I can choose what I want to feel, right? If there's nothing good coming out in being sad, then why feel that way? Can't I make myself feel better? Do I really have to rely on someone else to cheer me up? Do I have a choice in this?

Of course, it also depends on the situation. Sometimes you just had to feel sad about something, get over it and then move on with your life. I think I should only feel sad when it is rightfully so. So what the hell is 'emo'? Who invented 'emo'? This guy must be a melodramatic fool.

I want to cheer those sad people up but I can't seem to find the words. It's my flaw. Verbal consolation just doesn't manifest easily in me. I guess I can only put them down in writing. So read on. Some humor to tickle the emo bugs away. Hope it helps.
