Yesh! We did our 2nd episode.
ok we are slightly getting the hang of it. Still feels funny speaking into the mic to another person WITHOUT actually seeing the person. But toking on phone also the same leh...hmmm. Still weird lah.
Though we tried to sound natural but cos it's a podcast, we are also trying to make the conversation touch on something that listeners can relate to. It's a balance between narration and chitchat. And it's a thin line. I think it feels weird bcos we had to address the listeners like radio DJs do, something we are not very good at lol...or still feeling awkward about.
Either way, it's another nice try. Somemore it's slightly longer than ytd's ep. But at least dis time im smart enuff to tweak the sampling so that the filesize don't end up humongous.
Right. So somehow we decided we are still not ready to let the world hear our voices yet. There are still some technical aspects to look at. Like our mic levels. I still sound louder than Ivern. Have to figure out a way to equalize the volume so that i wun sound like im screaming and he wun sound like he's squeaking....testing testing 1 2 3...
We added in a special section today...called The Top 10 Things...we will play around with it, touching on various subjects every episode hopefully.
We also realised one thing. It's really difficult to try to be funny. I mean we tried joking and laughing during the conversation but I wonder how it will work on the listener. He/she will probably think we are just toking cock. Which is the whole point. DUH.
Anyway, we are oredi planning our next session. And we will probably get a special guest to join in. Ok la, not that special. We are getting Jason to join us. I think with him around we dun even have to try to be funny. See his face u know leow. LOL, just kidding. He beri hamsome but fierce (ugly but adorable is too cliche...i dun wan to use) and definitely outright Beng. He is so beng that he can create a country of bengs by himself and call it Bengala. Den he will set law that all names muz have the word "beng". Best. Imagine a person named ChinAhBeng....or a bank called SeeTeeBeng....
We are going to record the session together at the same location so there wun be voice volume issues. Hopefully with Jason, we can do a good trial and finally post the clip up for our world debut (^.^)y
