Petrol prices went down 4cents a litre. Hmm...clap clap...hooray...walk away. What's the big deal? A 4cents discount warrants a full page article?...wow...very 'significant'...wooo...biggest news of the century...like it's gonna help the nation at all. We should just be glad that Iran did not decide to shoot that missile at us.
Everyday we read news like this that doesn't really matter to us. But I think we should all be contented with what the gahmen is doing. Whatever the gahmen does, it's for the best for all of us. We should not care about the politics, the security, the economy of the country. The gahmen can take care of it. The ministers can take care of it. They are the ones earning the millions anyway. We are all in very, very good cash-laden hands. There's no need to panic.
All we good citizens have to do is just continue to pay our due taxes, maybe even donate our CPF to the needy ministers who need the funds to hold meet-the-minister's rep-instead-of-the-real-person sessions and give inspirational speeches to the people.
That is so COOL. Now I have no qualms of dying and giving up my CPF to the gahmen, knowing that they have better use of it. Wow, I never felt so patriotic in my life. I wish I can serve NS again. Hey, why not let male retirees go back and serve the nation? At least it gives them a purpose in old age. Rather than serving kopi or be garang gunis, why not let them relive the fun of old army days? I'm sure with their life's experiences and wisdom, they can make our military a stronger force. Then we can go snatch more islands from our neighbours. Isn't that a great idea?
This island should be used to house all caught terrorists.
