What's exactly the difference between a white lie and an intentional lie?

LOL. According to psychiatrists, there are 2 types of liars.
Type A Liars are the worst of the two types. They are around when you have something to offer and hard to find when you don't. Their tales and exaggerations lean on the extreme and are generally unfeasible. These types are known to fabricate stories that are often times not grounded in reality at all. It's almost as though they lie for the sake of lying. Type A's will claim to possess knowledge on nearly any topic. Regardless if you ask for their opinion on the topic, they will be more than willing to give it to you. If they haven't "been there, done that" themselves, they certainly know someone who has. They have a "friend" in every major industry; a guy who does carpet, another one who sells cars for cheap, a lady who cuts hair for free......you get the idea.
Type B Liars exhibit the same traits as Type A Liars, just not to the same extremes. Type B's however, are capable of maintaining long lasting friendships because their intentions generally are not selfish in nature. In an effort to be well liked by all, they will tell tall tales, but the event described usually did occur, the details are simply stretched. Type B's rarely manufacture an entire story. The lies and tales are mostly an attempt to socialize and feel wanted or important. Type B's will make an abnormally large number of commitments, but tend to follow through on a fair portion of them. Many honest people invest in the friendship offered by Type B's because the intent of the Type B by and large isn't to defraud.
A friend of mine happened to be an exact replica of Type A. Though I had not wanted to confirm his character, recent events had convinced me the manifestation of Type A in this friend of mine is at its peak. Sad. I hope he realise his ways soon, else he will lose more than just friends.
